Description:
Nurse Immigration Services is a California based company specializing in the immigration of Overseas Nurses to the United States. NIS maintains offices in the U.S. and the Philippines and has affiliates in Canada, India, South Africa, China and Ghana. Nurse Immigration Services personnel have over 20 years experience in U.S. immigration law and have extensive backgrounds with the nursing profession.
Relevant U.S. law provides that for an RN to immigrate to the U.S. the immigrant must have passed the CGFNS examination or hold "a full and unrestricted license" to practice as an RN in a U.S. state. Some states do not require CGFNS for an RN license. Therefore, a RN may take NCLEX, the standardized RN license test accepted by every U.S. state. After passing NCLEX, the RN then is granted the U.S. state's RN license, and then may immigrate to the U.S. without CGFNS.
Nurse Immigration Services offers Overseas Nurses a wide range of study aids for NCLEX and CGFNS, as well as for the English examinations (either IELTS, TOIEC, or TOEFL and TSE). These aids include study books, audio tapes and computer based pre-tests.
