MALCO NURSING AGENCY was established in 1989 by Denise Riglin R.G.N., O.N.C., employing both Trained Nurses and Care Assistants.

Denise is a highly experienced R.G.N. She did her orthopaedic training at Black Notley Hospital followed by her R.G.N. training. For 7 years she worked in Zimbabwe, formerly Rhodesia, where she did her Midwifery training.

The Agency continued to grow rapidly and in 1997, Denise's Nephew; Michael joined as Director and with his Bank Manager background, helped to run the business. Malco now employs 11 office staff to organise and supply the large numbers of nurses employed.

Geographically the Agency has Clients all over Essex, particularly; Maldon, Braintree, Chelmsford, Witham, Colchester, Brentwood and Basildon.

Malco Nursing Agency Limited is registered by The Commission for Social Care Inspection for Nurses and Domiciliary Care Agencies. Therefore, we work to the National Minimum Standards of the Care Act 2000.
Malco Nursing Agency is an approved agency to supply trained nurses and care assistants.

Agency Nurses are approved by Malco Nursing Agency Ltd. under Contracts for Services. Malco Nursing Agency will supply the agency staff to carry out work to meet the Clients requirements, as notified at the time of the request.
Qualified Nurses are supplied to the following areas;

* NHS Trust's General and Psychiatric Wards
* Private Domiciliary Nursing
* Local Hospice - Palliative Nursing
* Primary Care Trusts - Terminal, Palliative Nursing
* Private Hospitals
* Private Nursing Homes

Care Assistants, many of which are training for NVQ level 2 qualification in Nursing and supplied to the following areas;

* NHS Trust's - General and Psychiatric Wards
* Private Domiciliary Care
* Learning Disability Areas
* Nursing and Residential Homes
* Private Hospitals
* Local Hospice - Palliative Care
* P.C.T. - Domiciliary Care for the Service User in their own home
