Lighthouse Medical Staffing began operations in Pittsburgh, PA in 1995 under the name of Health Force as a franchise operation. In 1997 the company expanded its operations into Ohio and opened an office in the Columbus area.
In 1998, the franchise arrangement was dissolved and their name was changed to Ambassador Nursing Services.
On January 1, 2003, the business was renamed for the third time, due to a change in Lighthouse Medical Staffing ownership structure, to the current Lighthouse Medical Staffing.
Lighthouse Medical Staffing is now owned by Greg Burke, Joe Burke and Jim Burke. Greg and Jim are members of the original ownership team that opened the initial office in Pittsburgh 10 years ago. They have demonstrated the experience and stability to provide the services and support that is demanded by their customers and the culture demanded by our employees. Joe’s addition to the team has improved the sales and customer service areas. Their leadership, combined with the experience and dedication of the office staff is what makes Lighthouse Medical Staffing “the best little staffing company in Western PA. and Ohio”.
