Training Course on Health Management-Improving Decentralized Health Services

What: Training Course ‘Health Management – Improving Decentralised Health Services”
Where: Ateneo Graduate School of Business, Ateneo Professional Schools Rockwell Center, Makati
When: May 17 – June 11, 2010

The course is designed for health managers working in decentralised public health systems, in health services and structures with enlarged responsibilities or in health management training institutions, in order to strengthen their leadership capacity and to enable them to organize and carry out appropirate rtraining in health managemnt for their health personnel.

Candidates fulfilling the following admission criteria are requested to:

  • Fill in the application form
  • Prepare a Curriculum Vitae
  • Give arguments for : How can this course imporive your management skills in your service?
  • Agreement from sponsor (Participants with full or part scholarship are favoured and GTZ sponsored participants must be provided with roundtrip air tickets)

Admission Criteria

  • Citizens of Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam
  • University degree or equivalent in medicine, economy, pedagogy, sociology, nursing sciences, or public administration
  • Excellent English Proficiency
  • Minimum 2yrs of professional experience in the health system at distric or regional level, in a training institution or NGO working in the health sector
  • In charge or responsible for management and leadership, in the training field or deveopment of training programmes
  • Recommended by the employer
  • Maximum 40 yrs old
  • Female candidates are especially invited to hand in their application
