Repeaters Pull Down Nurse Board Passing Rate

According to Board of Nursing official Marco Sto.Tomas, repeaters dragged down the nursing board passing rate.  Only 37,527 of the 94,462 who took the exam passed it, making for a 39.72% passing rate.
Among the 40,086 repeater-examinees, only 26.68%passed the exam while the passing rate for the 54,360 first-time examinees was higher at 49.36%.
The increasing volume of repeaters is dragging the passing rate down.
