    JOB DESCRIPTION•
    Following Nursing Process:-
    – Assessing (making nursing diagnosis)
    – Planning.
    – Implementing.
    – Evaluating.
    • Pre & postoperative care of patients
    • Assisting in Emergency intubations /performing CPR
    • Assisting in Various procedures
    – Lumbar puncture
    – Central venous catheter insertion
    – Peritoneal dialysis
    – Dressing of surgical wound.
    Monitoring glascow coma scale and papillary responses and notifying
    immediately if any changes occurs.
    – Maintaining a patient airway
    – By performing tracheal/oral suctioning
    – Performing adequate chest physiotherapy
    – Changing Position 2 hourly
    – Administering medications
    • Performing.
    Intravenous cannulisation.
    – Sending blood sample for investigations and evaluating the lab values.
    – Maintaining accurate record of intake and output.
    • Meeting hygienic needs of the patient.
    • Meeting nutritional and elimination needs.
    – Insertion of Nasogastric tube.
    – Giving Ng feed.
    – Administration of enema, suppositories.

    CHAD is community-based hospital under CMC, which had special empesis on maternal child health and has felicities for taking of complicated deliveries including caesarian section. And it provides peripheral services in the village. I have been responsible for the delivery of comprehensive health care giving health education and organization of maternal and child health clinic in hospital and villages (Mobile clinic). And have worked in ward and labour room assisting in theatre for caesarian section. Had been supervising nursing students and part time community health workers.
