Pacific Global Medical Center
Pacific Global Medical Center or PGMC is a Level 3 Tertiary private Hospital with 100 bed capacity located along Mindanao Avenue near Quirino Hi-way in Novaliches in Quezon City. It is a sister hospital of Commonwealth Hospital and Medical Center (CHMC), which is strategically located to cater the immediate surrounding vicinity including patients coming from Northern Luzon.
Pacific Global Medical Center is established to provide medical and clinical laboratories services and similar undertakings in relation to the advancement of healthcare needs of the people as well as the professional advancement of medical and surgical services.
The Pacific Global Medical Center has a an integrated Medical Arts Wing that will basically accommodate consultation clinics for expert doctors and physicians that also provide services to the hospital. As an affiliate of Commonwealth Hospital and Medical Center, PGMC and CHMC, holds a FCM training program and pre residency training for doctors, who will eventually man the hospital.
Spearheading the hospital project is Pacific Global president Dr. Juan A. Lagunzad and its chairma, Mr. Jose A. Bacud, Jr. As a private enterprise, the hospital is nevertheless open for public investment for both doctors and the general public. To be a stockholder of the hospital entails a minimum investment Three Hundred Forty Thousand Pesos (P340,000.00). Aside from earning dividends in their shares of stock, stockholders are also provided certain fringe benefits as part owners and investors of the health institution. This included discounts in the medical in patient services of the hospital and other free benefits.
As a healthcare institution, the Pacific Global Medical Center is not really a profit oriented type of business investment. Instead, it is more of an investment of a person to one’s healthcare. The investment will help protect investor from the unprecedented rising costs of healthcare. Meanwhile, the undertaking also increases the number of healthcare providers in the country thereby provider more universal access to people in need of medical care and attention.
