Community Medical Center is the only facility providing obstetrical and newborn care in Missoula County. In addition, it is one of only three facilities in the state offering high-risk obstetrical care and neonatal intensive care. It is a referral center, receiving mothers and infants from throughout western Montana and Idaho. Maternal and neonatal emergency transport services are available.
