Phillipine Health Care Association of Australia

Phillipine Health Care Association of Australia (PHCAA) has been the leading Filipino independent, non partisan, non-political, not-for-profit organisation in Australia that provides assistance to overseas nurses and professionals on how they can best come into Australia and to have their qualifications recognised. For almost two years now, PHCAA have worked and continued to liaise with the Philippine Consulate in Sydney and with various Universities both in Sydney and the Philippines in promoting to establish a Philippine venue for the bridging course in nursing. This will soon be realised in the few months to come. In cooperation with Astute Training and some government entities, PHCAA have encouraged and assisted Filipinos who have been away from the workforce for some time, by evaluating their skills to qualify for the health care services and at the same time benefit from the rebate payment schemes of the government. We take this opportunity to congratulate the first 12 graduates of this program. Through the auspices of PHCAA, various hospitals and clinics in the Philippines have been the recipient of medical supplies and equipment worth over A$350,000. PHCAA is recognised internationally by PNAA (Phil Nurses Association of America), PNA (Philippines) and PNA-UK. PHCAA is funded by its founding members, its business networks and affiliates and supported by all its bonifide members.
