Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines
Every year thousands go to foreign countries, drawn by higher incomes and better opportunities for professional growth. The continuous exodus of nurses has made it an imperative for our training institutions to continually develop nursing professionals to meet the needs of our own people. Apart from the educational institutions, this task of continuous professional development rests with the professional organizations, one of which has been active in ensuring continuous learning for nurses — the Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines (ANSAP). The organization, composed of nursing service directors, chief nurses, and other supervising nurses, was formed in 1967, ANSAP members are the ones who maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of all nurses in the many hospitals and health care institutions in the country.
