hi, i am and a student now at Fil-Canadian and i just wanna share to answer your queries. we have classes 6 hrs a day from mon. to fri. only and it is your choice if you want the AM shift (8AM to 2) or the PM shift (2 to 8:30PM) for 6 months, plus 1 wk OJT for an elderly institution and 1 wk at a children’s hospital, that’s almost a total of 7 months. glad to help.

hi azenith… as far as i know, the school will “help” us with the TESDA review and also coach/review us for the Speak Test with the Consul after the course is done, but with regards to work… as for me and my co-students, its either we already have employers waiting for us or we have relatives in Canada who helps us find an employer there… i don’t know about other schools.

i am a graduate of this training center but it was last sept 2005 and now my application for canada is still on process, just recvd recently a letter from canadian embassy asking me to take the SPEAK TEST, just want to ask if filcan will help me before ill take the speak test? hope to hear answers… thank you so much

well just to give you guys some sight on some of your question,i graduated from filcan way back 2002..and im proud to say that this school is awesome! my cousin sponsor me here in canada so they process my papers while im still studying,then, when i got my application kit i asked them to help me to go through the interview… so they patiently refresh my mind on all subjects and help me answer all possible question on the interview… luckily, i passed the interview and now im already striving here in canada…and nini is the best in the office… we use to be so close that time and ang sarap isipin mga bagay we did before during training…

No they cannot help to find employers you can go another place like hongkong, singapore etc. to apply going to canada. if you are interested don’t study caregiver just go directly to hongkong coz there are agencies who can help you going to canada without having certificate in caregiver its useless, just work one year to this country.
