The lifeblood of an enterprise is said to be finance. Accounting then could be considered the heart that controls, measures and distributes it so that the business survives and flourishes. Accounting provides a vital service to the business by supplying the information that will aid decision makers to make rational and critical choices to optimize utilization of scarce resources. The healthcare business operation is no different. Considering this it is important that key personnel in a healthcare business understand and interpret financial data and information. Unfortunately, many of the key people handling healthcare businesses do not have a firm grasps of accounting nor finance.

This course was especially designed for non-finance professionals who are involved or tasked to document business transactions, generate financial reports or analyze financial data of a healthcare facility. This course intends to provide participants adequate knowledge and basic skills of how to maintain business records, prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to grow and succeed.

All modules are conducted through lectures, discussions, exercises and fun learning. Classes will run from 8am to 5pm at the Asian Institute of Healthcare, Ground Floor of the Philippine College of Surgeon Bldg. 992 EDSA, Quezon City

TARGET PARTICIPANTS
Healthcare professionals who are currently tasked to provide financial information to management and/or those who intends to be in the finance or management of a healthcare facility.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Part of the HBD Institute service is to refer successful graduates to its network of healthcare facilities for possible employment. Their network of facilities comprises of several ambulatory clinics, hospitals and nursing homes.

Enrollees of a group of 5 will be given a 20% discount. Enrollees in at least 3 courses will be entitled to 25% discount. Employees of affiliated companies will be given 30% discount.
