6th Orientation Workshop on “Maternal and Newborn Health Programming”
Geneva, Switzerland, December 7-11,2009.

The workshop is part of a series of capacity-building workshops organized by the Department of Making Pregnancy Safer on a regularbasis.  This one-week Workshop will familiarize participants with WHO guidelines on interventions and related health system issues for maternal and newborn health.  The Workshop will enable participants to enhance their skills to design effective solutions for improving MNH programmes and to plan, implement and evaluate MNH services in countries with high maternal and neonatal mortality.
