17th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American College of Chest Physicians, Philippine Chapter Inc.

Pulmonary disease continues to rank among the top 10 Philippines mortality and morbidity figures. Sadly, though, they remain in this position due to failure of upgraded information accessible on the part of the country’s many medical and paramedical staff.
The American College of Chest Physicians, Philippine Chapter Inc. is attempting to rectify this situation through its joint convention. On April 7,8 & 9,2010, the ACCP will be holding its 17th Annual Scientific Meeting at Avenue Hotel, Naga Camarines Sur, Bicol. The basic theme for this convention is “ACCP Come South, CamSur: Pulmonary Diseases; Outwit, Outlast…, Survive“.
The meeting will highlight current concerns in local lung disorders. It aims to make the Philipipne medical population more aware of the problems faced in pumonary medicine and the best ways to combat or prevent these.
